Venice History...
 

At 229 West Venice Avenue, Stanton Ennes of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers built the Valencia Hotel in 1926.  It was known as the Valencia Hotel and Arcade and Post Office and later it was know as the El Verona Hotel and then the El Patio Hotel as it is known today.  




Above photos and the photos in the pictorial have been used with permission from the City of Venice Archives and Area Historical Collection, housed at the Historic Triangle Inn, 351 South Nassau Street.
