Venice History...

The dedication of the Venice Hospital in the Worrell Apartment building on Sunday, February 6, 1952.  It was originally named Sarasota County Memorial Hospital.  The hospital was purchased by Bon Secours and most recently was sold and the name changed to the Venice Regional Medical Center.  They recently renovated the hospital and gave it a new paint job.
